I am excited to begin this year as the Interim Principal of Allen Elementary School. I have spent the past 15 years working in East Aurora School District as a teacher, dean, assistant principal, and principal. I graduated from Northern Illinois University with a degree in History Education and I earned my Masters in Educational Leadership from North Central College.

As we have been planning and preparing for this school year I am extremely excited for what this school year will entail. During this year I am excited to see our students continue to engage and grow with our math and reading curriculums, engage collaboratively with our new science curriculum, and continue to learn and grow in their specials. I am also extremely excited to see our amazing dual language expand into 3rd grade. Overall, the Allen Faculty and Staff are thrilled to welcome both returning and new students for the 2023-2024 school year! We are filled with the excitement and the promise of new learning, new opportunities, new experiences and new friendships.

I will finish by saying that throughout all of my experiences I have always believed that education is a partnership with all families and with this partnership we can ensure all of our students meet their full potential. Estoy emocionada de comenzar este año como Directora Interina de Allen Elementary School. He pasado los últimos 15 años trabajando en el Distrito Escolar de East Aurora como maestro, decano, subdirector y director. Obtuve mi licenciatura en Educación Histórica en Northern Illinois University y mi maestría en Liderazgo Educativo en North Central College.

Como hemos estado planeando y preparando para este año escolar estoy muy emocionado por lo que este año escolar traerá consigo. Durante este año estoy emocionado de ver a nuestros estudiantes seguir participando y crecer con nuestro currículo de matemáticas y lectura, participar en colaboración con nuestro nuevo currículo de ciencias, y seguir aprendiendo y creciendo en sus especialidades. También estoy muy emocionado de ver nuestro increíble lenguaje dual expandirse en 3er grado. En conjunto, la facultad y el personal de Allen están encantados de dar la bienvenida tanto a los estudiantes que regresan como a los nuevos para el año escolar 2023-2024. Estamos llenos de entusiasmo y con la promesa de nuevos aprendizajes, nuevas oportunidades, nuevas experiencias y nuevas amistades.

Terminaré diciendo que a lo largo de todas mis experiencias siempre he creído que la educación es una asociación con todas las familias y que con esta asociación podemos garantizar que todos nuestros estudiantes alcancen su máximo potencial.
