Reading Challenge 2023Reto de Lectura 2023

Starting January 30th, EA librarians are hosting a district-wide reading challenge! The goal is for students to work on their reading stamina and complete books. Too often, students are returning books that they enjoy, but don’t finish. This reading challenge is aimed at encouraging our students to finish those books.

Any book finished between January 30th and February 24th can be logged through one of the Google Forms provided below.

Also, this year will be a district-wide staff reading challenge! The building with the highest percentage of books read by its staff and administration will win a trophy and bragging rights this year as well!

Running totals will be shared weekly in News and Notes and trophies will be awarded to the K-2, 3-5, 6-8, & 9-12 school/grade level with the highest percentage of books read per student.

Please encourage our students to participate, have fun and out read their competition! We got this.

Comenzando el 30 de Enero, los bibliotecarios de EA van a realizar un reto de lectura para todo el distrito. El objetivo es para que los estudiantes trabajen en su estamina y completen sus libros. Muy a menudo, los estudiantes devuelven libros que les disfrutan, pero no los terminan. Este reto de lectura esta dirigido para animar a los estudiantes a acabar esos libros.

Cualquier libro que haya acabado entre el 30 de Enero y el 24 de Febrero puede ser subido usando uno de los formularios de Google siguientes:

Asimismo, este año también incluirá a los trabajadores de todo el distrito. ¡La escuela con el mayor porcentaje de libros leidos por sus trabajadores ganará un trofeo también este año!

Los totales se compartiran cada semana en noticias y notas y los trofeos se entregarán a k-2, 3-5. 6-8 y 9-12 por escuela/grado con el mayor porcentaje de libros leidos por estudiante.
